As a Garner, NC, native and resident of Clayton since 1993, I am thrilled at the prospect of helping others find their dream home in this wonderful part of the state I embrace and call home. The Wake/Johnston county area boasts the ultimate mix of natural resources, business, entertainment, wellness, and community that appeals to individuals and families alike looking for that perfect fit.
After graduating from NCSU in 1986 and obtaining a law degree from UNC Chapel Hill in 1994, I have had the very rewarding experience of working with business clients in the Raleigh area while raising a family in Clayton. In those capacities, I have become knowledgeable, not only of the business landscape (emerging companies, medical amenities, transportation, etc.), but of the cultural, educational, recreational, and holistic opportunities the area has to offer.
In raising our son, Ty, my husband of 27 years, Tommy Myatt, and I have explored and sampled the many parks, museums, day cares, churches, local youth sports organizations, local community theater, and, more recently, the colleges that this area has to offer and could not feel more fortunate to live and raise a family here. Through volunteer and outreach positions with local youth rugby teams and the Clayton Youth Theater, we have deepened our involvement and commitment to the area and look forward to enjoying its steady, yet never stifling, growth.
As a recent “empty nester”, I am excited to embark on this new quest to help others find the perfect home to fit whatever stage in life they are currently journeying or planning for. The Triangle area of NC has it all and I welcome the chance to share and help others navigate the exciting adventure of home ownership.
